Yoga with Diana Reynolds

"Yoga attempts to create a state in which we are always present - really present - in every action, in every moment".
TKV Desikachar, The Heart of Yoga

Yoga is a great tradition that began in India centuries ago. Over that time, many different systems and styles of yoga have emerged. Perhaps the most popular in the West is Hatha yoga which involves the physical poses, breath control and meditation. Although yoga has been practised for so long, it is still so relevant to our modern, hectic lives and enables us to achieve health and general well-being.

Yoga poses improve our strength, flexibility and balance. They help us to develop an awareness of our bodies and release our internal energy, leaving us feeling more alive.

In my classes students learn to focus on the breath as they move in the poses. Concentrating on the breath helps us to release further into yoga poses and to develop a sense of calm. In this way we begin to train the mind to be still and bring balance to our body and mind. Yoga offers us the chance to improve our sense of well-being and to feel happier within ourselves.

I currently run classes in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire and Reading, Berkshire.
